Who’s most prolific actress at 35th Fajr Festival?

Shaqayeq Farahani and Parinaz Izadyar have been named “the most prolific Iranian actresses” at the competitive section of 2017 Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

Out of 33 films selected in the main section of Fajr Film Festival, Farahani and Izadyar from two different generations of actresses in Iran Cinema appeared in three movies each on the list.

This is while more than 8 Iranian actresses such as Hedieh Tehrani and Pegah Ahangarani appeared in two movies from the list of chosen movies for Sodae Simorgh section of the event.

The 33 cinematic works on the list were curated for the competitive 'Sodae Simorgh' section. The Crystal Simorgh or Crystal Phoenix is an award given by Fajr Film Festival.

Fajr Film Festival is Iran's major film event, held annually in February.
